Welcome to the wiki for the "Exploiting the Potential of Web 2.0 and the Social Web" workshop. The workshop was held at The Herbert, Coventry on Thursday, 27 February 2009. Details of the event are available on the UKOLN Web site.

Participants at the workshop were invited to:

  • Register for WetPaint, which will enable you (and others) to see pages you have created and edited (although note that registration is optional).
  • Familiarise themselves with the Wiki using the Test page.
  • Introduce yourself to fellow participants, and describe what you hope to gain from the workshop and topics you would like to see covered.
  • Give a summary of the issues and topics you would like to see addressed at the workshop.
  • Use the Feedback page to provide feedback on the event.

Please note that this wiki is intended for use by the workshop participants only. Also note that as this is a public wiki, no guarantee can be made regarding the sustainability or integrity of the content.

Note that if you wish to see examples of how this wiki has been used at previous UKOLN workshop you can see the wikis which were used for the MLA East of England (Nov 2008), Sharing Made Simple workshop in Bangor (Nov 2008), Sharing Made Simple workshop in Newport (Sep 2008) and Sharing Made Simple workshop in Yorkshire (May 2008).
